On the occasion of the 7th World Meeting of Families 2012, Pro Terra Sancta received a certificate the day before yesterday (30 of May) in Milan for its participation in the International WorkLife Balance Award, organised by the Region of Lombardy and the dall' Alta Scuola Impresa e Società of Milan Catholic University. This award aims to show recognition for the work done all over the world to help families by creating job opportunities.
Of particular interest were the projects by ATS pro Terra Sancta titled “Sabastiya, a site in the Holy Land from past to present”, which aims to conserve and enhance the cultural patrimony of the village which is home to the tomb of Giovanni Battista and to support the local community, as well as “Franciscan Social Service Office”, which supports the families of Bethlehem and confronts the emergencies in health, education and assistance.
