A journey for university students and young professionals.
We offer a 15-day experience scheduled annually between July and August, designed to explore and immerse oneself in the complex reality of the Middle East and Palestine/Israel.
The program objectives
- Delve into the political and social contrasts that affect the region;
- Immerse oneself in the context and life of the local community through unique experiences of sharing and encounter;
- Visit and learn about the cultural heritage of this land, a crossroads of peoples and cultures, experiencing a human, educational, and professional journey.
The three dimensions of the journey
- Cultural dimension: Numerous visits are organized to discover and learn about the territory. Field trips are planned (to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Sebastia, Jericho, Galilee…), visiting culturally and historically significant places.
- Historical and political dimensions: Participants attend lectures and meetings regarding the history and current socio-political context of this complex reality to deepen their understanding of the historical-political dimension of this land, a crossroads over the centuries for peoples and nations.
- Social dimension, works, and projects: The program includes visits to charitable works and social, educational, and cultural projects. Meeting with these initiatives will be an opportunity to discover the importance of the ancient and diverse Christian presence over the centuries in the Middle East.
