In these past few days, the wheather in Damascus have been worsening, forcing the local population to face the cold. This situation is having a huge and dramatic impact on many families who now find themselves living without access to electricity or heating.
In the cold, without heating nor electricity
After ten years of war, electricity in Syria is only available for two or three hours a day. The Syrian government has announced the removal of subsidies needed to purchase basic goods, such as bread, rice, sugar, oil, gas and heating fuel.
