The school for us
For 500 years, the schools of the Custody in the Holy Land have been meeting places to build peace together. These schools are ready to start again for a new school year despite a thousand unknowns and difficulties, after two years of lockdown and continuous clashes.
For us, school is as precious and indispensable as the air you breathe.
It is not just a question of giving young people a good education, but of creating meeting places for young Christians, Muslims and Jews. In fact, only by following the path of dialogue can a future of peace be built in the Holy Land where hatred meanders and even a small spark can unleash violence.
Supporting our schools means building peace in the Holy Land. And if there is peace in the lands of the Lord, there will be peace throughout the world.
